Venkat ‘bets’ on Ajith

Thala Ajith’s 50th film, Mankatha with director Venkat Prabhu, is one of the most talked-about films in Kollywood. And right from the story of the film to Ajith’s character and look in it, every aspect of the film seems to be widely discussed by both the media and the audience.
When we asked Venkat Prabhu if Mankatha is about betting, he said, “Yes, betting is an important element in the film. However, we haven’t concentrated only on betting during cricket matches. There are several other forms of betting that will find a prominent place in the film.” He added, “And I’ve bet on Ajith to make a hit out of this film! The highlight of the film is that the second half takes place in just one day. That’s probably why Ajith loves the interval block and the second half.” Venkat is all set to shoot the climax of the film near Hyderabad soon. “I will finish Ajith’s remaining portions first because he wants to start gymming. He has to lose weight for Billa 2 and look very young and dashing!” he said.
