Producer Dayanidhi Alagiri has confirmed that the shooting of Mankatha has almost come to a close. Only a song and post production work is pending. The movie has a number of action packed sequences which contributed to the delay in release. Dayanidhi Alagiri has confirmed that the movie will release in the month of August
