Kainaat Arora - Latest Addition To Ajith's Mankatha
Remember the gorgeous girl who wooed and wowed with Akshay Kumar in the song 'Aila Re Aila' from Khatta Meetha?
She donned Dimple Kapadia's look from 'Main Maike Chali Jaaongi' and caught everybody's attention and fantasy. That was Kainaat Arora for you. Though the actress debuted in Bollywood with just an item number, there has been no looking back for her with some of the best offers coming her way. The young lass just finished shooting a song with South superstar Ajith Kumar for his 50 th film Mankatha.
Talking about the song Kainaat reveals, "The film is very special for Ajith as it's his 50 th film and I couldn't have asked for more than an exclusive dance number with the Tamil superstar."
Kainaat is highly excited about the song and is sure it will be a huge hit. She says, "The song is very much like my Hindi song Aila Re Aila and Munni Badnaam Hui. It has a bar setting set in old Mumbai and is very edgy. We shot it in Chennai and it was great fun working with Ajith and the entire Mankatha team."
Confident about impressing the Tamil audience with her latkas-jhatkas, Kainaat says, "Akshay Kumar has been lucky for me and now I did this song with Ajith Kumar. I guess 'Kumar' is my lucky charm. So I am sure this song too will get me recognition from the Tamil audience and film fraternity."
Interestingly, its not just item numbers that Kainaat can boast about. The actress is in final talks with a few big banners where she will exhibit more than just her dancing skills. "I feel fortunate that after working with Akshay in Khatta Meetha, people have noticed me and approached me with some irresistible offers. I can't divulge much right now but the projects offered are really big with A-league directors and actors and I shall spill the beans soon," says Kainaat with dreams in her eyes and 'light a zillion lamps' smile on her face.

Ajith’s punch line in Mankatha!
Here’s what Ajith fans have been eagerly waiting for – his punch line in Mankatha. It is: “Ellarum kettavan na ivan romba kettavan.” The next big question is the release date of Mankatha and its director Venkat Prabhu is flooded with questions about it. Answering this, Venkat has said that the music launch and the film’s release will be announced very soon and fans need to wait patiently for it.

Anjali To Act in ‘Mankatha’
The latest player in the mega ‘Mankatha’ game is Anjali. The ‘Angadi Theru’ salesgirl will play an important role in this 50th film of Ajith, a multistarrer being directed by Venkat Prabhu.
Anjali is the leading lady of ‘Thoonga Nagaram’, produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri. "She bagged ‘Mankatha’ offer since Dhayanidhi’s Cloud Nine Movies is producing ‘Mankatha’ too," say sources.
Happy about sharing the screen space with the ‘Thala’, Anjali says, "it was a great experience. I am really happy and excited to be part of an important film of Ajith. Thanks to everyone involved in it."
‘Mankatha’ already has Arjun, Lakshmi Rai, Premji Amaran, Vaibhav and other actors playing crucial roles. "The film is going to be a real treat for Ajith fans on his birthday May 1," says Venkat Prabhu.

Mankatha's Full Of Grey Shades
Here’s a Kollywood film that’s based on cricket betting. Thala Ajith’s golden jubilee film Mankatha, which directed by Venkat Prabhu, has Trisha playing the daughter of an underworld don from Mumbai’s Dharavi slums, and Ajith’s love interest.
According to sources, the movie is about cricket betting during an IPL season. The interesting part is that all the actors, including Ajith and Action King Arjun, portray roles with negative shades.
Venkat Prabhu says, “Mankatha is about different people trying to make something happen and how everything changes when one particular factor comes into play. So there will be a lot of unexpected twists and turns. This is not a gangster flick. Though it’s a high-voltage action movie with darker shades, there is no violence involved.”
The director continues, “It does have a mature, lively romance, but there are no clichéd dream song sequences.”
He predicts that Trisha will be the surprise package. The movie’s ensemble cast includes Ajith, Trisha, Arjun, Lakshmi Rai,Vaibhav, Anjali, Premgi Amaran, Mahat, Ganesh Venkatram.
Producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri is confident that he can wrap up the film by mid-March and release it on May 1, which happens to be Ajith’s birthday.

Venkat Prabhu Clears Speculations
Venkat Prabhu has cleared speculations that Mankatha is not the remake of the hindi movie "jannat". Venkat commented "People mankatha is not a remake!!! Thank u" in a micro blogging site. And so did the movie's producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri who quoted "MANKATHA is not a remake of any movie... Its the new GAME !!!".

More than 50% of Mankatha shoot is over
Here are the latest updates on Ajith’s 50th film Mankatha. The film has completed more than 50 percent of the shoot and is heading to wrap up the remaining in a short span.
Venkat Prabhu director of the film has so far completed three songs, includes title song which was shot in Bangkok, duet between Ajith and Trisha and a kuthu song with Ajith, Premji, Vaibhav and others, both the songs are shot in Chennai. Apart from songs Ajith completed an action sequence by taking heavy risk. To capture the close action scenes during running, walking and turning, he carried a big mount camera weighing 30 kgs on his body. Director Venkat has brought this idea and Ajith has accepted immediately inspite of having many surgeries on his body.
Mankatha completed rolling the camera in Chennai and will be moving to Mumbai to capture the rest of the scenes.
Mahat being introduced in the movie wrote "Goodmrng! Been a long working month for me. Schedule wrap n will resume in mumbai soon."
